Valentine's Day is one of the favorite days of the year for hopeless romantics. So, why not have the most romantic day of your life on the most romantic day of the year? Shauna and her groom chose to have a small, intimate, and romantic celebration. They chose a traditional church ceremony beautifully decorated with reds and blacks. Their reception however, was one their guests would not forget! Guests best not be late to this party or they will miss the boat...literally! Shauna's reception was aboard the party boat "Celebration!" An appropriate name for an event such as this! The boat was beautifully adorned in reds and blacks. The smell of an Italian Feast filled the inside of the boat! Her cake was a 3 tier with small red hearts created out of fondant to incorporate some Valentine's touches. Upon setting up the cake the coordinator and I noticed a bit of movement from the waves. Concerned about the size of the waves once they left the dock the Captain took it upon himself to shake the table holding up my 3 tier cake! Thankfully, the cake was unmoved and neither the Coordinator or myself had a heart attack! How's that for a stable cake...lol! Now that a potential crisis was solved we could continue preparing for Shauna's reception. Dining was on the main floor, which was wall to wall windows! Upstairs there was dancing under a canopy of stars! Shortly after I finished setting up my cake and admiring the decor I left and dock as guests began to arrive. Once everyone was settled the boat left the dock for an evening of dining, dancing, and Valentine's romance on the lake! Comments are closed.
