Easter Weddings: Whimsical and Colorful!

I love seeing what trends will be popular, especially around the holidays.  Last year, right around Easter, the natural theme was popular.  Birds and bird cages adorned tables and centerpieces. Small twigs covered in lighting hung from various locations around the ceremony and reception.  This Easter, brides are turning to soft colors and whimsical designs. 

Pastel blues, pinks, yellows, and greens are the colors of choice for this years holiday brides!  Whimsical patterns cover cakes, table cloths, and centerpieces. Fun and light hearted is the idea these brides are going for! 

When it comes to the cake, brides are incorporating their theme mainly through a design on the cake.  Using soft colors in the icing ties the cake in with the rest of their theme.  Others choose to maintain the traditional white cake, but adorn their cake with soft colorful flowers.

Easter represents new life!  What a beautiful way to showcase your new life with your spouse than with a beautiful wedding cake full of colors and fun!
