Help Us Help Wadi

Wadi Shaheen is a sweet 8 year old boy who resides here in Round Rock. When he turned 5 years old he was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomysarcoma Stage 4 cancer. It all started with a tumor on his left calf. It metastasized to his bone marrow, left femur and other parts in his body. Wadi went under two and a half years of traditional cancer treatment which included: tumor surgery, lots of chemo and radiation.

After the long battle lasted he was only cancer free for one year .Unfortunately on his last check up in June a mass was found in between his right lung and ribs. Due to the nature of this aggressive type of cancer traditional treatment does not provide to much hope. Only to prolong his life for another year. Doctors estimated Wadi only has 6 months left to live if his cancer is untreated.

Wadi's parents refused to believe that there is no hope therefore, they have been searching and praying for other alternative treatments, one that is less harmful but more successful. Wadi has been accepted to be treated in Dr Herzog's Fachklinic in Germany. A recognized and professional cancer clinic.

The cost of the treatment is estimated to be $40,000. Wadi is in need of starting his treatment soon. The more it waits, the bigger the tumors gets and the faster the disease spreads. Making it even harder to treat.
