"For I remember it is Easter mourn, Holiday weddings can be a special time for loved ones to come together to not only join two families and celebrate the marriage of the joyful bride and groom, but also share in celebration of the holiday as well! What better time to choose to get married then around the time of Easter? Easter represents new birth, the Resurrection, a new life! What better way to celebrate the newness of life then by uniting yourself with your great love! In planning a wedding around the time of Easter, it might be a fun idea to incorporate some of your Easter traditions in your wedding. I'm not saying you force all your guests into the lawn of your reception venue and hand out baskets for them to collect little plastic eggs. Although, that might make for some memorable moments! But, what about incorporating things that represent Easter? Birds and their nests are a traditional representation of Easter. They represent new life, such as the meaning of Easter itself. Maybe find a cute topper of two birds to place atop your wedding cake? Maybe adorn your cake and guest tables with some elegantly displayed nests? Maybe use bird cages as part of your centerpieces creatively displayed with beautiful silk doves and other adornments? The possibilities are endless! Whether you choose to incorporate Easter into your wedding through cake toppers, centerpieces, little plastic eggs, or photos of you and your spouse through Easter's past, know that the creativity and meaning you put behind it will surely be one that bears great significance to you and will create fond memories for years to come.
