Preparing for the Austin Bridal Extravaganza!

It's almost time for the Austin Bridal Extravaganza.  If you haven't attended a show yet, make sure you attend this Sunday.  The show will be at the Austin Convention Center from noon to 5:00 pm. 

The Austin Bridal Extravaganza is a great way to meet vendors for your wedding, sample their product, learn about their pricing/business, and compare vendors side by side.

Here are a few tips to successfully attend the Bridal Extravaganza.

1. Arrive Early.  This show is at the Austin Convention Center and parking can be an issue.  Arrive early to get a good parking spot...and first in line to get into the show.
   
2. Do Not Eat. Every food vendor there will have samples and trust me, you will want to taste.  You will leave full...I can promise that.
   
3. Stay Organized. There are so many wedding vendors there it's hard to remember everything at the end of the day.  So come prepared.  Bring two bags...a yes bag and a no bag.  As you go through the aisles and speak with vendors place their information in the appropriate bag.  If you like their product and pricing, place their brochure in the yes bag.  If not, or you are not planning on using their service place their brochure in the no bag.  Bring a pen and jot down notes on their information...or put a little star on your favorites.  This way when you go back through everything you can remember your conversation with them.
