The perfect spring cake flavors!

The temperature is rising and fresh fruits are in season!  Now is the perfect time for those light and refreshing desserts to end your reception dinner!  Here are a few of our favorite combinations:

1. French Vanilla with Strawberry Cream Cheese Filling - french vanilla is a light and fluffy cake.  Pair that with the refreshing filling of fresh strawberries mixed with cream cheese and you have a sweet and light cake!
2. Lemon Cake with Raspberry Filling - Lemon is always refreshing.  Pair that with the tartness of a raspberry filling and you have a not too sweet and not too tart cake that everyone will love!  And, it's a little outside the box too. 
   
3. Peach Chiffon Cake with Cream Cheese Filling - mmmm....fresh peaches.  Nothing tastes better on a hot summer day then the juiciness of a peach!  Pair that with a light cream cheese filling and it will be a crowd pleaser!
4. Pink Champagne with Strawberry Filling - we introduced our pink champagne cake a little less than a year ago and wow has it been a huge hit!  It's light and refreshing and has that little taste of champagne.  Add a sweet strawberry filling and you truly feel like you are eating champagne and fresh strawberries in a cake!
